UK GENDER PAY GAP REPORT 2024-25
We are dedicated to fostering a Studio environment where team members can go professionally, contribute meaningfully and achieve shared success.
This report sets out our UK Gender Pay Gap data as of 5 April 2025 in line with statutory reporting requirements. As part of SEGA Europe, Sports Interactive contribute to wider group reporting and ongoing diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives across the business.

Understanding the Gender Pay Gap
The Gender Pay Gap measures the difference in average earnings between men and women across the organisation. This differs from equal pay, which relates to paying men and women equally for doing the same or equivalent work.
Our Gender Pay Gap reflects the overall distribution of men and women across roles and levels within the Studio.
Our Results
| Mean - gender pay gap | 18.4% |
| Median - gender pay gap | 20.4% |
| Mean - bonus gap | 36.4% |
| Median - bonus gap | 18.5% |
| Proportion receiving a bonus* | Men: 98.7% Women: 95.5% |
| Proportion of women by pay quartile | Upper: 8.2% Upper middle: 3.3% Lower middle: 8.8% Lower: 14.5% |
* The variation in the proportion of individuals receiving a bonus is solely attributable to the timing of their hiring or departure.
This is the first year Sports Interactive is legally required to publish this data. We approach this transparently, ensuring clarity and identifying areas where our efforts should be concentrated.
What Is Driving Our Gap
Our gap is primarily driven by representation. We are a predominantly male studio and have lower female representation across all levels of the organisation, particularly in senior leadership, technical disciplines and higher-paid career pathways.
As with much of the games and football industries, historic talent challenges have contributed to this imbalance. We are committed to increasing representation across the studio, and this will be key to improving our gender pay position over time.
What We Are Doing
We are renewing action to improve representation, progression and retention:
- Broadening our pipeline – Continuing to develop and sustain relationships with partners including Women in Games, Women in Football, UKIE and BADU. Alongside these collaborations, we continue to pursue outreach initiatives aimed at attracting more women and individuals across diverse backgrounds to the industry and to our Studio.
- Supporting progression – Investing in leadership development and structured career pathways across disciplines.
- Listening and improving – Working closely with our Women@SI and EDI networks to shape policies and priorities.
Looking Ahead
Improving gender balance within the Studio is a long-term commitment.
We will continue to monitor our progress, strive to strengthen representation at every level, and proactively implement changes where necessary.
