Working Model: Hybrid 2-3 days per week in Studio
Location: Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E15 2GW

Position Overview

Content is at the heart of how we connect with players, partners and our community. From our website and blog to partner campaigns, influencers, paid media and PR, every touchpoint plays a role in telling our story.

As our Comms & Content Manager, you'll help bring that story to life. Working within an established comms and content strategy, you'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of engaging content across key channels, ensuring it's consistent, audience-focused and aligned with our brand. You'll collaborate with specialists across Brand, Social, CRM, Community and SEGA Publishing teams, helping connect activity across the wider content ecosystem while managing the channels and initiatives that sit within your remit.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys developing ideas as much as delivering them. You'll combine strong writing and editorial judgement with storytelling instincts and content experience, working with internal teams, agencies and partners to deliver campaigns that resonate with players and support our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Editorial

• Support the delivery of our content strategy, ensuring activity aligns with wider brand and marketing objectives.

• Plan and coordinate content across owned channels, including web, blog, partner channels, paid media and influencer activity.

• Maintain the editorial calendar, helping ensure content is planned clearly, balanced across priorities and delivered to a high standard.

• Develop creative content ideas and campaign narratives that connect with players and audiences across relevant touchpoints.

• Write, edit and refine a range of content, ensuring clarity, quality, consistency and brand alignment.

• Review and provide feedback on content within your remit, helping maintain consistency across related marketing activity.

• Work closely with Brand, Social, CRM, Community and Creative teams to help keep messaging connected and consistent across channels.

Partnerships, Paid & Influencer

• Support the planning and coordination of content initiatives with external partners, helping develop campaigns and storytelling that reach new audiences.

• Collaborate with paid media teams and publishers to develop engaging campaign content and creative activations.

• Coordinate influencer content planning, including supporting creator selection, shaping campaign ideas and managing delivery alongside internal teams and agency partners.

• Build positive working relationships with external partners to support collaborative content opportunities.

PR & External Communications

• Steer day-to-day PR activity, helping deliver our existing comms strategy.

• Work with PR agencies and media contacts where appropriate, coordinating activity and escalating queries when needed.

• Support the development of press materials, announcements and external communications that represent the studio professionally and consistently.

• Help identify opportunities to strengthen our external profile through thoughtful storytelling and proactive communications.

Internal Comms

• Support internal comms activity across the studio, helping leadership communicate clearly and consistently.

• Contribute to internal messaging, updates and comms that keep teams informed and connected.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Support direct reports, providing day-to-day guidance, feedback and development support.

• Build strong working relationships across Marketing, SEGA Publishing teams and the wider studio to help bring campaigns and content initiatives together.

• Coordinate stakeholders, agencies and projects within agreed plans, helping work progress smoothly while maintaining quality.

• Contribute ideas, share feedback and support improvements in how we plan, create and deliver content.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Experience in a content, communications or PR role, ideally with a background in journalism, editorial, PR or professional writing.

• A strong writer and editor with good storytelling instincts and an eye for detail.

• Experience planning and coordinating content across multiple channels rather than focusing on a single platform.

• Comfortable developing creative ideas and turning them into engaging campaigns and content.

• Experience working with partners, agencies, influencers or media to deliver collaborative campaigns.

• Good stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across multiple teams and represent the studio externally when required.

• A collaborative approach, able to bring people together around shared ideas and objectives.

• An interest in using audience insight and performance data to inform future content decisions.

• Previous line management or mentoring experience is desirable.

• A passion for our games, football, entertainment or digital culture is a big advantage.

You'll thrive in this role if you are...

• A natural storyteller who enjoys finding compelling ways to connect with different audiences.

• Hands-on and happy switching between writing, editing, planning and coordinating.

• Creative, curious and always looking for fresh ideas and opportunities.

• Calm and confident when managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders.

• Comfortable representing the Studio with professionalism, credibility and enthusiasm.

• Collaborative by nature, building strong relationships across teams and with external partners.

• Passionate about producing high-quality content that makes an impact.

Benefits of Working at Sports Interactive:

  • Private Healthcare and Dental Plans.

  • A range of Gym Membership options through our Benefits partners.

  • Travel Insurance for yourself and your family.

  • Subsidised mental health, therapy, and coaching sessions are available.

  • Trophies & gift cards for length of service milestones.

  • Cupcakes delivered on your birthday.

Our Values:

  • Keep collaborating: Teamwork wins titles - Here, ideas belong to everyone, whatever department you’re part of. Collaboration lets us score more as a team than we could individually.
