Job Title: Senior Producer (Design)
Team: Design
Reporting into: Lead Producer
Working Model: Hybrid 2-3 days per week in Studio
Location: Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E15 2GW
Position Overview
We are hiring a Senior Design Producer to elevate and accelerate design delivery across Football Manager.
This role exists to bring assertive, pro-active ownership to the day-to-day execution of work across our UIUX, narrative, and game design teams (consisting of ~20 designers across multiple features & initiatives).
Following two challenging cycles we are looking for a highly organised, experienced producer who can ensure design work is clearly planned, communicated, and delivered predictably without compromising creative quality.
On an annual release cadence, it is imperative that design lead the way early and that work is not allowed to drift or delay development. You will be accountable for ensuring design work is delivered at pace and is ready to enter production. You will ensure that dependencies and risks are surfaced early, and progress tracked with clarity and intent.
Whilst you will primarily take ownership of day-to-day execution, as a senior member of the production group you will also help shape process, mentor producers, and act as a trusted partner to design and production leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Assertive accountability for delivery of UIUX, narrative, and game design output across multiple features and initiatives
Operate with urgency and efficiency in the context of an annual release cadence
Successfully position design to be delivering ahead of the next iteration, not reacting late
Partner with Design Leads to translate creative vision into achievable plans, timelines, and milestones
Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and mitigation strategies
Safeguard design quality through effective planning that considers stakeholder feedback and iteration loops
Ensure validation gates are utilised and requirements satisfied to enable designs to move into production with confidence
Drive build reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Support evolution and improvement of design production processes to enable clarity, consistency, and scalability
Provide clear, concise, and actionable updates on progress, risks, and decisions
Facilitate alignment and collaboration across creative, technical, and production perspectives
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Proven experience in senior game production roles with accountability for delivery of creative work
Deep understanding of production in a creative setting, with experience delivering in a deadline-driven environment
Able to bring solid organisation and pro-active intent to a fast-moving, ambitious studio
Comfortable operating among legacy complexity whilst focussed on forward-thinking opportunity
Strong command of production tools (Jira, Confluence) with an understanding for how they add delivery confidence, not administrative overhead
A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working on large-scale, systems-driven or simulation-heavy games
Familiarity with Football Manager or deep sports simulation titles
